Education in 2050: A Future Narratives Lab

This blog presents the outcomes of a Future Narratives Lab held in Krefeld, Germany, where young participants explored the role of education and mental health in shaping futures. Through the Futures Literacy Lab process (reveal, reframe, rethink, redo), participants questioned dominant myths about schools as purely logical systems and proposed new narratives that embrace emotions, self-care, and mental well-being. Their vision: schools as ecosystems that nurture both learning and emotional resilience, preparing communities to face 2050 with balance, creativity, and hope.
